DataDirect Technologies

Developed a web based database application that helps DataDirect manage renewals for software and technical support contracts. Application was written using .NET® and utilizes an Oracle® database. Features included an interface with Peoplesoft® CRM, Contract & Customer searches, and the automatic creation of contract documents into Adobe® Acrobat format. Trained their staff on Peoplesoft® software at offices in North Carolina and the United Kingdom.

Progress Energy

Provide technical support for the entire suite of Business Objects® products that have been implemented at Progress Energy. Support includes universe development, report writing, help desk services, and technical training. Lyon Technologies has also provided assistance in developing SQL*PLUS® scripts, developing data models and data warehouse ETL rules, and Microsoft Access® databases.

BGF Industries
(A Porcher Industries Company®)

Diagnosed and corrected a conflict between BusinessObjects® software and a PC video board driver that prevented BusinessObjects® from functioning correctly. Two other consulting firms had previously attempted to diagnose this problem and were unable to do so. Lyon Technologies was contacted; we found the problem and corrected it immediately. Lyon Technologies has also conducted technical training for BGF staff members and provided technical support assistance.

BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina

Developed prototype for internal EIS Dashboard application. Assisted in the development of BusinessObjects® reports that were called directly from the dashboard. Prototype has now been converted to a production intranet system using Business Objects' Application Foundation® product.

SAS Institute

Assisted in performing usability testing for a new Business Intelligence product. Worked through various scenarios and provided feedback on the new tool.

Zale Jewelers

Developed Visual Basic® and Perl scripts that allow sophisticated report parsing and processing in BusinessObjects®. Reports are automatically parsed and sectioned according to a specific set of rules. The resulting HTML files are then published on the Zale intranet for use by their internal personnel.

Dior

Developed a kiosk application to display the results of cosmetic makeovers. Photos were taken of "before" and "after" shots to encourage customer participation in a makeover consultation event.

Fun Times

Designed new logo for company; evaluated current web site and desired new features; developed new site. Set up remote connectivity between offices; provided support for their office network and PCs.

Tanas Hair Designs

Created and continue to maintain customer database. Designed and implemented several marketing and internet advertising campaigns.
